The MaKey MaKey Portable Chorus

The MaKey MaKey Portable Chorus is another tool that can be built using the MaKey MaKey Musical Construction Kit. This tool enables teachers to create an easy, accessible practicing environment for students where they can hear entire ensembles around them rather than having to rely on hearing only themselves to check for mistakes. The tool works by creating a multitrack recording in a program like (but not limited to) GarageBand and dividing the song up into sections based on form. By assigning each instrument to a particular trigger in the MMPC's programming, teachers can create easy access multitrack playback where muting tracks is as simple as pushing a button.
